This page describes which data GuardPilot collects through this website, what we use it for and which rights you have. Short, factual, no legal wallpaper.

Last updated: 3 July 2026

In one paragraph

This site measures visits and signups with Google Analytics and Google Ads, so we know which pages and ads work. We also store a single localStorage item to remember your language preference. If you fill in the waitlist or contact form, we keep your details to contact you. No resale, no marketing emails, no profiling.

1. Who is the data controller?

GuardPilot.ai is a trade name of the organisation listed on this site:

2. What data do we process?

We only process what you actively enter yourself. Specifically:

Waitlist form

  • Name (required)
  • Email address (required)
  • Organisation (optional)
  • Role / title (optional)
  • Sector (optional)
  • Portfolio size (optional)
  • Free-text note (optional)
  • Language preference (nl/en)
  • Submission timestamp

Contact form / email

The content of your message plus the email address you write from. We do not store IP addresses or browser fingerprints.

3. What do we use this data for?

  • Getting in touch about your enrolment or question, that is the sole purpose.
  • Prioritising pilots based on sector, portfolio size and note, to make a good match.

We do not send newsletters, no marketing emails, and we do not enrich your data with external sources.

4. On what legal basis?

Performance of a request you submitted yourself (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for pilot-selection conversations, our legitimate interest in evaluating submissions (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. How long do we keep it?

  • Waitlist submissions: up to 24 months after your last contact, unless you request earlier deletion.
  • Email correspondence: as long as it is relevant to the ongoing conversation or a resulting obligation.

6. Where is your data stored?

Submissions are stored in a secured Postgres database managed by GuardPilot, hosted within the EU.

For waitlist access, the site uses row-level security: only authorised administrators can see the records.

7. Who sees your data?

Only GuardPilot staff involved in pilot selection and customer contact. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing or profiling. The sole exception is legally mandated disclosure (for example to a regulator).

8. What are your rights?

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Correction or completion
  • Deletion
  • Restriction of processing
  • Portability
  • Objection to processing
  • Complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl)

You can submit a request by email: info@guardpilot.ai. We respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies & tracking

This site measures visits and signups. We use Google Analytics for visit numbers and Google Ads to count how many people join the waitlist after an ad. Google may place cookies for this. The recipient is Google Ireland Limited, see business.safety.google/privacy. No Facebook Pixel, no HubSpot, no heat-mapping, and we sell nothing on. You can refuse measurement with your browser's Do Not Track setting or by blocking cookies.

What the site does keep locally in your browser:

  • gp.lang , localStorage entry with your language preference (nl/en), so we don't have to ask again on every visit.
  • Technical session cookies from your browser to remember scroll and form state, no identification.

10. Security

Connections to this site and its database go over TLS (https). Access to submissions is limited via row-level security policies. You can report vulnerabilities confidentially, see /.well-known/security.txt.

11. Changes

Changes to this statement will be published on this page with a new date at the top. For material changes we notify existing waitlist registrants by email.
