Contract management audit software without sampling — 100% of the portfolio.
Classical contract audit is sample-based and by definition misses the pattern spread across the rest of the portfolio. GuardPilot checks every clause, every execution and every invoice line — four-eyes principle technically enforced, below 4% false positives.
Why sampling structurally falls short.
A sample finds what's in the sample. In a portfolio of thousands of contracts, small errors sit precisely in the contracts too 'ordinary' to be selected — and they compound over years. Full coverage isn't more expensive when the agents do the work; it's the only way to find patterns that individual checks miss.
What GuardPilot's contract audit rests on.
100% of the portfolio
No selection up front: every contract, every clause, every invoice line is included. The 97% that a sample skips is exactly where structural patterns hide.
Evidence before signal
An agent never flags blindly. Source evidence is built first (contract clause, execution data, invoice line); only then does a signal form. Reviewing is verification, not investigation.
Two independent models
Four-eyes principle technically enforced. If the models disagree, the case escalates — no signal slips through on a single verdict.
<4% false positives
What reaches a human is pre-sorted and proven. Alert fatigue disappears; capacity goes to reviewing and deciding rather than digging.
Reproducible trail
Every signal carries its own audit trail: which source, which clause, which model verdicts, which decision path. Justifying afterwards or discussing internally uses the same data the agent used.
Human decides, always
AI investigates and informs, the human decides. The order is technically enforced; there is no mode in which the system autonomously executes a contract change or credit note.
Two models must agree.
Every model has its role: triage & bulk, analysis, synthesis. Two independent models must agree before a signal reaches a human. If they diverge — because evidence is weak or the clause is ambiguous — the case escalates, never silently. That keeps the black box open and keeps you in control.
Predictable signals, no noise.
About contract audit.
What is contract audit?
Contract audit is the systematic test of whether what is contractually agreed is actually executed, invoiced and complied with. Classical audits do this on a sample basis — a selection of contracts, a selection of lines — and by definition miss the pattern spread across the other 90% of the portfolio. GuardPilot audits 100% of contracts every night, with a reproducible evidence trail per finding.
Why is sample-based control insufficient?
A sample finds what is in the sample — not what structurally goes wrong in the rest. In contract-heavy portfolios, errors sit precisely in the contracts too 'small' or too 'ordinary' to be selected: small indexation gaps, one forgotten side letter, a tariff step that should have triggered once a year. Full coverage finds those patterns; sampling systematically misses them.
How does the four-eyes principle work?
Every signal must be confirmed by two independent models before it reaches a human. Model A does triage and bulk analysis; model B does independent verification on the collected evidence. If they agree, the signal proceeds with both verdicts visible. If they diverge, the case escalates automatically — never silently. That keeps the black box open and leaves the final decision with a human.
How reliable are the signals?
In our own production, GuardPilot stays below 4% false positives on the signals reaching humans. That is the result of the dual-model check plus the evidence-first approach: an agent never signals without first investigating and building evidence. Every signal carries its source lines, model verdicts and decision path — reviewing takes minutes, not hours.
